The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
St. Pete Bike Fest
Thursday – Sunday | OCC Roadhouse & England Brothers Park, St. Pete
Believe it or not, you don’t need to own a motorcycle to hit up St. Pete Bike Fest this weekend.
You can simply go because of your undying, unabashed love for all things Scott Stapp and Creed. We called and asked!
Stapp will be joined by Black Stone Cherry and Craig Morgan on the headlining stage. Kid-friendly activities, food truck rallies, merch vendors and more live music will also be present throughout the weekend.
Holiday Happening
Saturday 4 – 9 p.m. | Hyde Park Village, Tampa
Is it fair to say Hyde Park’s annual tree lighting is nearing Rockefeller Center territory?
Probably not. But it’s getting there.
This year they’re upping the ante with live entertainment, food & cocktails, a holiday market featuring Nike, Goody Goody and more. And of course, SANTA. The tree lighting will go down at 7 p.m. with benefits heading toward Make A Wish Southern Florida. Parking is available in all garages, plus a little extra space down by Hyde Park Presbyterian, Wilson Middle, and Gorrie Elementary.
Dominic Fike: Out of Order Tour
Monday, 7 p.m. | Jannus Live
Big announcement: We’re extending this week’s weekender to Monday. Seeing as the entirety of next week will be forgivingly unproductive and this particular artist happens to be worth a Monday night out.
Dominic Fike has been a damn-cool singer-songwriter long before his rise to heartthrob Euphoria fame. And his two acclaimed projects, What Could Possibly Go Wrong and Don’t Forget About Me Demos, will get the very excellent Jannus Live treatment under a cool St. Pete sky. One might say it would be a euphoric start to your Thanksgiving week? Pardon our reach.
