The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
Pied Piper’s Haunted Carnival
Thursday – Sunday | The Heights, Armature Works Tampa
All 300,000 square feet of Armature Works gets the fall carnival treatment this weekend, with a light additional touch of EDM and horror.
Families can enjoy pumpkin decorating, superhero characters, face painting and more—that is until the sun sets. That’s when the Blowout Werewolf of New Jersey DJ Pauly D, Steve Aoki, Shaq (!!) and others will take the stage to turn things up a notch. Haunted corridors, costume contests and specialty cocktails will be in full effect.
Single-day tickets, three-day passes and VIP tables are all available.
Becky’s Bash 2022
Friday 7 p.m. | Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
If you’re looking for a more local, downhome throwdown for a solid cause, Becky’s Bash is holding their second annual education benefit up on the pirate deck at RayJay Friday night.
Think Pig Jig at its inception, only proceeds head directly toward Title I high school graduates. Your ticket is your donation, and with it comes an open bar, good food, and live music featuring Ed John, Lou’s Lips & Friends, and the magnetic Shevonne & The Force. And of course, a little cornhole and putt-putt during those brief breaks from the dance floor.
Fingers crossed the Bucs win Thursday night, if only to rest assured the stadium is still there come party time.
Halloween On Central 2
Sunday 12 – 5 p.m. | Central Ave, St. Pete
St. Pete is shutting down its main stretch for five hours Sunday in the name of all things spooky.
Last year, more than 70,000 people took to Central (mostly in costume) to crawl their way around downtown’s righteous food and bar scene. If you’re looking for an easy, ticketless way to get your Halloween on in short notice, St. Pete is the move.
