The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
Localtopia
Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Williams Park, St. Pete
Let us tell you about a place. A place where beer lovers and local proprietors instinctively flock like the tarpon of Old Tampa Bay. A place where budding artists and—
Alright here’s the deal, it’s called Localtopia. And it’s the best.
We’re talking blocked off streets with dozens of food trucks. Local draft beer corners featuring suds from 3 Daughters, Green Bench Brewing Co., Pinellas Ale Works, Flying Boat and so many more. Art vendors and thrift tents selling the stuff you just can’t find anywhere else. And to top it off, a live music lineup culminating in a final act with Shevonne Philidor.
It’s all going down in Williams Park in Downtown St. Pete this Saturday. Say no more.
Dunedin Mardi Gras
Saturday 2 – 11 p.m. | Downtown Dunedin
If you’re going for the iconic parade hat trick this weekend, look no further than Dunedin Mardi Gras.
It’s the 30th annual celebration of one of Dunedin’s best nights cutting straight through the heart of historic downtown. An area packed with outstanding local food and a top-notch brewery scene. Various VIP tickets are also still available for the parade, which will see Trae Pierce & the T-Stones headlining the music lineup. And we can tell you first-hand, the T-Stones don’t mess around—they get the people going.
Festivities start at 2 p.m. with the parade kicking off at 7 p.m.
Brunched 2023
Saturday 12 – 3 p.m. | Tampa River Center, Tampa
Lovers of Bloody Marys, bacon, and all things quasi-breakfast have good things in store at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park this Saturday, where brunch bites, champagne, and cocktails from various Tampa Bay restaurants await.
