Galentine’s, Guylentine’s, good ol’ fashioned Valentine’s. It’s a fine night to indulge in some of Tampa Bay’s best tailor-made menus of extravagance. Regardless of whether you’re coupled up tonight, romantic love isn’t the only brand of love that warrants going face-first into incredible, delicious food. So here are three of our favorites, along with the bang for their buck throughout the bay.
Flor Fina, Ybor City
The Bang: Hotel Haya’s dashingly handsome restaurant & bar is teeing up a lineup of raw oysters, risotto, and your choice of seared scallops, herb-crusted lamb rack (our personal suggestion) or charred butternut squash. A quick stroll down Old Ybor City’s historic brick under romantic lights and call it a Valentine’s.
The Buck: $85-$125.
Ponte Modern American, Midtown Tampa
The Bang: Tampa Bay’s latest praise-worthy fine dining concept has a mighty attractive four-course menu in store for Cupid’s big dance. Things like Champagne + Pearls Oysters, Flight of Tuna, Black Truffle Risotto and Denver Steak Wagyu just to name a few. See what all the hype is about with the ones you love to hype.
The Buck: $175
Haven, SoHo Tampa
The Bang: Nothing says “I love you” like an elite tasting of Scallop Crudo, Miyazaki Wagyu Tartare, Miso-Glazed Short Rib, Pork Rib Crépinette and other dishes, desserts and wine pairing options at Bern’s Steakhouse’s little cousin concept.
The Buck: $105
