Give it up, party people. The Queen of Brunches has arrived. And the most sacred brunch of them all is right around the corner. We recommend a showering of flowers, gifts and general thoughtfulness this Mother’s Day. But when it comes time to business, here’s three Sunday brunches we’ve had on our radar this week throughout Tampa Bay.
Bulla Gastrobar
SoHo Tampa
The Matriarch’s elevated culinary palette is always in good graces at Bulla Gastrobar. And starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, they’ll be serving up a three-course, prix-fixe menu with bottomless mom-osas. Moms can also receive a box of chocolates and a $20 gift card for their next visit with proof of valid birth certificates for all present children. (Kidding on the birth certificates. Just a little joke for Mom.)
1920 Ybor City
Ybor City
Cigar City’s latest homage to its glory days is hosting a pre-opening Mother’s Day bash loaded with brunch cocktails at various times throughout the day. The Salt Smokehouse is catering a bottomless brunch buffet alongside a bounty of mimosas and bloody marys. And you can also expect live music and entertainment throughout the enormity of the 7th Ave hot spot. Go see what all the hype is about—nobody spreads the word like Mom.
Maestro’s Mother’s Day Brunch at The Straz
Downtown Tampa
Nothing like lunch and a show with Mother. Maestro’s is set to hit The Straz this Sunday with renowned carving stations, Oreo-crusted French toast and more. The 11 a.m. brunch is sold out, but a late 1 p.m. arrival was always the move anyway.
