The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend (that aren’t Taylor Swift):
Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival
Thursday – Saturday | Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Tampa
Enormous platters of steaks and hors d’oeuvres. Shareables you’ll share with no one.
So much wine.
You can expect the best of the best with your ticket to Tampa Bay Wine & Food Fest, a four-day extravaganza from the area’s top chefs and culinary masterminds. There will be interactive cocktail experiences, wine from all over the world, live music and more along downtown’s riverfront. Tickets are still available for each day’s local experience.
Animal Prince with Katara
Friday, 7 p.m. | Shuffle, Tampa Heights
West coast indie duo Animal Prince is in town on a run of Florida tour stops. And they’re teaming up with locally beloved Katara to create one of the most creative ensemble forces known to Tampa.
It should be a sought-after night of experimental, synth-driven fusion over at Shuffle. Where you can fuel your dancing shoes with craft beer and primo bar bites. The show starts at 8 p.m. with tickets going for $10.
Bolts Playoff Brunch & Bar Crawl
Saturday, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. | Downtown Tampa
To no one’s shock whatsoever, The Tampa Bay Lightning are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And Downtown Crawlers has partnered up with the team to get you ready for another run at the Cup.
Multiple locales—including Yeoman’s, American Social, District Tavern and more—make up a fun lineup of exploring Downtown Tampa. And thanks to the Bolts, they’ll have plenty of swag and gear to giveaway in the process. Tickets start at $15 for the all-day Saturday affair.
