The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
The Water Street Tampa Holiday Promenade
Thursday 5 – 8 p.m. | Water Street Tampa
Water Street Tampa is mere months away from opening another round of anticipated food & drink locales. But that’s not stopping them from hosting their first annual Holiday Promenade Thursday night.
The open-air market features more than 50 seasonal vendors and artisans along with live entertainment and “Creation Stations” in Raybon Plaza, including wreath making and cookie decorating.
The neighborhood is currently lit to the gills with holiday decorations, with nearby bars at The Tampa EDITION a mere rotating door away. Oh, and there’s a Lightning game. Making this the perfect pregame spot to take a stroll and revel in one of Tampa’s most hyped commodities.
11th Annual Winter Wonder Ride
Saturday 2 p.m. | Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Downtown Tampa
It’s looking like another profound weekend for a scenic bike ride through Downtown Tampa, down Bayshore Boulevard and back around to Curtis Hixon Park for a top-level finale concert.
Lightning legend Pat Maroon is the emcee for this year’s onBikes fundraiser, aptly titled the “Ho Ho Hoedown” with musical headliner and country duo LOCASH. The ride departs at 4:30 p.m. with the night’s park festivities closing at 10:30 p.m.
2022 St. Pete Lighted Boat Parade
Saturday 6:15 p.m. | St. Pete Municipal Marina
Why make the drive through various neighborhood holiday lights when the holiday lights can drive by you?
The St. Pete Pier, Vinoy Park and Shore Acres are all optimal viewing points for the St. Pete Boat Parade this year. In which a gorgeous fleet of multicolored light bulbs will cruise from Demens Landing up to Venetian Isles Saturday night. After the parade, walk into downtown for a nightcap and deem your weekend victorious.
