The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
National Cheesecake Day at The C House
Saturday 4 – 10 p.m. | The C House, Seminole Heights
It’s BOGO specialty cheesecake slices at The C House Saturday, a locale famous for its penchant for all things beginning with the letter C. But especially the greatest C-word of them all: Cheese.
It also happens to fall on the day after National Chicken Wing Day. And by God, if “chicken wing” doesn’t start with… never mind.
As you can see, it’s all coming together for a top-tier Saturday outing. Catch us plopping down at either of C House’s beautiful bars, undoubtedly indulging in the power of our alphabet’s third letter.
BarrieHaus Beer Co. Haus Market
Sunday 12 – 3 p.m. | BarrieHaus Beer Co., Ybor City
You’ve never said no to a good cause in the past. Why stop now when the reward is an undefeated Sunday hangover cure of beer, food, live music and ice cream?
BarrieHaus is taking proceeds from this weekend’s street market and turning a portion of them right over to Shore Elementary Magnet School for the Arts—an incredible, one-of-a-kind program located right down the block in Ybor City.
The market runs for three hours starting at noon, entry is free of charge.
727to813 Day with the Rays
Sunday 1 p.m. | Tropicana Field, St. Pete
In conjunction with The Identity, the Rays are hosting their first ever 727to813 day this Sunday featuring discounted tickets against the pesky Cleveland Guardians.
It’s $27 per ticket in the lower lounge foul poll section, a bargain you can snag right in here. And the Trop is a perfect escape from the sky this time of year. Catch the Rays as they surge through yet another AL playoff race toward the throes of summer.
