The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
Tampa Beat Weekend
Friday – Saturday | Crowbar, Ybor City
Recording artists and songwriters can watch their favorite acts perform anytime they come to town.
For producers? Not so much.
That’s what laid the foundation for Tampa Beat Weekend—a two-day platform for some of Tampa Bay’s top producers, composers and creators to shine. This weekend’s slate is going down at Crowbar, where next-level talents like the Barely Legal Collective, Jordan Patrick, Scxtt Aye, Gat$, Junkyrd and more are set to participate in a bevy of live performances, conversations and competitions.
It’s a can’t-miss event and a unique window into how Tampa Bay’s top hip-hop musicians get to work.
Canada Day in Tampa Bay
Saturday, 3:30 – 8 p.m. | Dirty Shame, Ybor City
Canada’s 155, eh? You don’t say.
Head over to Dirty Shame Saturday afternoon for poutine, cold drinks, good times and plenty of Canadian beer with the most famously nice people around. Corn hole, bar shuffleboard, pool, and darts will be in full effect with The Big Cheese food truck making an appearance, as well.
The beautiful kicker: All raffle items and proceeds go straight to the ALS Association of Florida.
St. Pete Pride Parade
Saturday 4 – 8 p.m. | St. Pete Waterfront
Florida’s largest pride parade isn’t a secret by now.
You know the deal.
National sensation Shaed will anchor a dynamite lineup of Florida’s most coveted LGBTQ+ talent. The parade, concert and fireworks are all free and open to the public. All you need to do is come prepared to rage accordingly in the heart of St. Pete’s most fun night of the year.
