The Identity Tampa Bay recommends three things to do this weekend:
SoHo Artwalk
Saturday 12 – 5 p.m. | SoHo, Tampa
Oh, you thought a quaint, intellectual walk down SoHo’s illustrious food & drink scene was unheard of?
This Saturday, a 24-stop lineup of painters-at-work, local artists, caricature drawings, roaming poets, dance performances, t-shirt printings, and other family-friendly art activities will line South Howard for the first-ever SoHo Artwalk. Even Bern’s is getting in on the action with an exclusive “Love Birds” mural unveiling—a true sign of the times.
The fun starts at Rose Bar Tampa and works its way down to Bella’s Italian Café, including food specials at several locations along the way.
St. Pete Brewfest
Friday & Saturday | Coastal Creative, St. Pete
An immaculate St. Pete benefit kicks off this weekend with an array of local craft breweries, live music, food trucks and local vendors—basically everything St. Pete does well—over at Coastal Creative.
All-you-can-sample tickets will allow guests to unlimited tastings from the best of 3 Daughters Brewing, Coppertail, Olde Florida Brewing, Sierra Nevada and many more, with proceeds benefiting H.O.O.A.H. and Ales for ALS.
Live bands like Kingpin and The Black Honkeys are holding down the soundtrack. Tickets are $45 for GA, $85 for VIP.
Adam Sandler Live
Sunday 7:30 p.m. | Amalie Arena, Tampa
The Sandman returns to Tampa this weekend after the massive success of his last stand-up run, 100% Fresh.
We admit it feels a bit on the nose to recommend a personality as large as Sandler’s, but perhaps that’s why we are. In the height of information, even the biggest acts can fly right past your radar. Missing one of the most storied and revered actor-comedians of our time feels like a poor mistake.
That, and he’ll probably sing “The Thanksgiving Song.”
